The botanicals in this formula
Plant extracts are pharmacologically active and this formula is not inert. Finessa contains cascara sagrada, a stimulant laxative of the anthraquinone family. Laxatives of that class are meant for short bursts of use rather than permanent daily intake; taken continuously they can disturb normal bowel function and pull potassium down. The formula also carries turmeric and milk thistle, both relevant to anyone on anticoagulant or antiplatelet medicine, and live bacterial cultures, which are not appropriate for everyone whose immune system is compromised. These are documented cautions rather than decorative small print.
Results
How people respond varies enormously, and a proportion notice nothing whatever. Nothing written here should be read as forecasting your own outcome.
